This cozy red mobile home is a great place to stay. It is a more luxurious experience of nature and the outdoors than a tent. The mobile home is equipped with a double bed (140×200), refrigerator, 2 burner stove and composting toilet next door. It is the ideal overnight location for hikers (of for example the Pieterpad 1,5 km away, or the klompenpad which is 500 m away) and also cyclists passing through. The Pipo is located in our orchard, at the edge of our yard. Please note: no shower.
Nature and surroundings
Our 1930's farmhouse is located in the hamlet of Groot Dochteren between Laren and Lochem. Across the road is the Diekinksriet, a naturally wet area used by many birds. Other natural areas nearby are the Velhorst, Ampsen, Verwolde (with the fat tree) and the Lochem mountain. The Sallandse Heuvelrug is 23 km away but definitely worth a visit! Lochem's train station is 3.5 km away and the Exel toll bus stop is 1.5 km.
