Welcome to our vacation home in the beautiful rolling hills of Normandy, located on the border of Calvados and La Manche. Our 31-acre property offers a peaceful and rural setting, ideal for a relaxing vacation. Enjoy a refreshing dip in our heated pool or relax in one of our two luxurious and spacious gites. Discover the beautiful surroundings of Calvados and La Manche, its rich culture and history, French cuisine and many activities and attractions in one of the most beautiful locations in Normandy. Our gîte is a mixture of the nostalgic past and the modern of today. The gîte has an area of 135m2 and features a spacious conservatory with sliding glass doors. Le Cidre has a spacious living room with an authentic fireplace with wood stove and a well-equipped kitchen with pantry. Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has a double bed of 2x 100x200. Spacious bathroom with rain shower.
Nature and surroundings
With a rich history full of memories and nostalgia, Normandy has a whole range of special things to offer. This piece of paradise has something for everyone, a place to dream away, relax or be active. The region offers everything from hiking to bungee jumping, leisurely strolls through the markets, a day at the beach or visiting historic sites. In addition, the Calvados is inextricably linked to the Battle of Normandy of which much can be found in the various museums and cities. Famous landing beaches are Utah, Omaha, Juno, Gold and Sword Beach. The battle that was fought here still marks the landscape. Just 5 minutes away, 3 km from our cottage, is the large lake 'Lac de la Dathée'. Golf lovers will also find here the challenging 18-hole course of Golf Club 'Golf de Vire'.
