Welcome to this Nature House! This cottage was used until 2017 as a sheep pen with room for about 15 sheep, farrowing pens and hay storage. In 2020 the renovation started and it was transformed into a cozy home with an area of about 65 m2. Enter through the French doors in the living room or through the indoor storage room where bicycles can also be stored. There is 1 bedroom with choice of arrangement as a double bed (twin beds) or 2 separate single beds. There is a bathroom and separate toilet, an open kitchen with Dolce Gusto coffee machine, and living room. Both the front and the back have a terrace with seating. The cottage has internet, TV, air conditioning for both heating and cooling, and parking. When it is cloudless at night, you can enjoy great stargazing on the terrace behind the cottage or by the frog pool!
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located in the Larense Broek between Laren and Holten on our grounds of about 9200 m2. on which a frog pool, groves and a sheep pasture with two stubborn clun forest sheep. Also living there are five curious cats and Olle, our overenthusiastic German shepherd. Nearby are plenty of walking and cycling opportunities such as the Larens Enkenpad, Verwolde estate and the Lochem mountain. The village of Laren is about five kilometers away. Here you will find cozy cafes, eateries and stores. Lochem is a cozy town about 11 kilometers away. Nature reserve the Salland Ridge and the Holterberg are about eight kilometers away. The Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Deventer are about 20 minutes by car.

Nature, peace & environment:We had a wonderful midweek stay in this comfortable cottage. We were there with New Year's Eve. A beautiful Christmas tree was in the house, outside lights in the trees. It made us feel welcome. We slept wonderfully, nice beds, silence. The rooms are comfortable, big bedroom, nice shower. Large storage room where you can hang out any wet stuff. The kitchen had everything you need. The sheep in the pasture made it complete. In the area is plenty to do, cities, hiking, museums. In short, highly recommended!
Wij hebben een heerlijke midweek mogen verblijven in dit comfortabele huisje. Wij waren er met oudjaar. Een mooie kerstboom stond in het huis, buiten lichtjes in de bomen. Het gaf ons een welkom gevoel. We hebben heerlijk geslapen, lekkere bedden, stilte. De ruimtes zijn comfortabel, grote slaapkamer, heerlijke douche. Grote bergruimte waar je eventuele natte spullen uit kan hangen. In de keuken was alles wat je nodig hebt aanwezig. De schaapjes in de wei maakten het helemaal af. In de omgeving is genoeg te doen, steden, wandelen, musea. Kortom een aanrader!

In de omgeving kan je te voet over rustig afvalt-/klinkerwegen lopen, er zijn geen onverharde wegen vanuit het huisje. Maar op korte afstand is ook veel moois te vinden, wij hebben prachtig gewandeld op de Sallandse Heuvelrug, dat is 10 min rijden (auto).
