Nature house in Periana

This child-friendly nature house consists of two sustainable, semi-detached vacation houses; the houses are identical and can accommodate up to four people. The house is decorated in a modern Mediterranean style and offers a beautiful view. The accommodation is fully equipped and features two bedrooms, each sleeping two, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, a cozy living area with games, toys, and a TV, a well-equipped kitchen, a dining table with a stunning view of the mountains, olive groves, Lake Viñuela, and the sea; you can also enjoy the view from your own terrace, which spans the width of the cottage. Next to the cottages is a fenced-in 8-by-5-meter swimming pool with a terrace. You can also enjoy the sweeping view from the pool. From the cottages, you can step right into the orchard, where the children can play to their hearts’ content. You can wander among the olive, fig, walnut, and almond trees, or relax on a bench in the shade under a tree or in a hammock.

The nature house is located in Periana, in the heart of the mountainous Axarquía region. Typical of this region are the mostly white villages, of which Periana is one. It is a charming, picturesque village with a cozy center featuring shops, restaurants, playgrounds, and a large swimming pool. Olive trees thrive throughout the landscape. Olive groves are everywhere, often bordered by a row of almond, pomegranate, or fig trees. If you drive over the mountain, you’ll reach the province of Granada in 10 minutes and see the landscape change, as many vegetables are grown here. This nature house is a great base for various activities. For example, there are many hiking trails in the Axarquía region. Within half an hour, you can enjoy playing on the beach at Torre del Mar. A little further on is the beautiful town of Nerja with its beaches and caves. Within an hour, you’ll be in the charming city of Málaga. The Alhambra in Granada is a 1.5-hour drive, and the Mezquita-Cathedral in Córdoba is just under 2 hours away.
