Nature house in MARCILLY

Our cottage is a recently renovated cottage in modern country style surrounded by pasture land (usually grazed by horses). It is therefore completely surrounded by greenery. Equipped with all comforts, it sleeps up to 8 people (if you also unfold the pull-out corner seat). There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, each with a double bed. There are two bathrooms. There is a lounge with television (only French channels for now), DVD player with some classics, board games and a long dining table. A fully equipped kitchen with induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher etc. In the entrance hall you will find everything you need for a longer stay: washing machine, clothes rack, ironing equipment. Upstairs there is a mini library with information about the region, hiking and cycling routes etc. Outside there is a garden table with barbecue. In the garage you can place bicycles and there are garbage cans for sorting your waste.

The cottage is located in Marcilly, a rural village in the bay of Mont St Michel. It is still Normandy but is a stone's throw from Brittany (Cancale, St Malo, Dinan ...). Through the green route - which is less than 2 km from the house - it is 23 km of cycling to the Mont. It is also a special experience to do the crossing to the Mont on foot accompanied by an experienced guide from Genêts (20 km), different formulas and distances are possible. Also on horseback, walking through the polders is an absolute must. The sea and beautiful beaches are also about 20 kilometers away. Via Granville you can visit the car-free island with micro-climate Chausey. The waterfalls of Mortain are also worth a visit. In Avranches (10 km) you will find restaurants, department stores, cinema, swimming pool, museum, a beautiful old city center, etc. A little further you have landing beaches and museums about the Second World War. All fascinating to explore !
