Nature house in Colmenar Solano

Welcome to Finca Maran, a characteristic old Finca in the hills of the Axarquía, in the quiet hamlet of Solano. Here you will enjoy impressive views, such as the mountain village of Comares, which towers high above the landscape.The Finca is spacious, Moorish-style, stylishly decorated and has several terraces, a roof terrace and a swimming pool. The fully furnished casa is the main house of Finca Maran, and consists of 2 living rooms, a dining room, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large spacious kitchen. There is 1 pallet stove and air conditioning in the large living room. On the grounds of Finca Maran there are several houses: the main house, the Casa and Casita Maran. The pool and terraces can be shared with other guests. Sometimes we ourselves stay in the main house; of course we fully respect your privacy.

The Moorish casa is located about 15 car minutes from the villages of Colmenar, Riogordo and Comares, three authentic and picturesque, white, Spanish villages. The villages offer a supermarket, bank / ATM, pharmacy, bars and restaurants. Five minutes away is the typical Spanish tapas bar El Niño for a drink and a bite to eat. Comares, located high on a rock, has a nice circular walk where the old Moorish influences are visible. The beach at Torre del Mar is about 40 minutes away and has a pleasant promenade with beach bars. Due to its central location in the heart of the Axarquía and on the edge of Montes de Málaga Natural Park, the casa is an excellent base for visiting cultural cities such as Málaga (beach, cathedral and Gibralfaro fortress), Seville (cathedral and Jewish quarter), Ronda (the gorge), Granada Alhambra), Cordoba (Mezquita) and the coast. One of the natural wonders in Spain, El Torcal, is a 1 hour drive from the nature house, caminito del Rey at 1.20h
