This is a spacious, bright, detached nature house with large windows, high ceilings, and several terraces and balconies. The ground floor features a well-equipped kitchen, a living room with a TV, stereo, wood stove, and a dining area. In the garden, beneath the old, shady olive tree, there is a terrace and an outdoor kitchen equipped with a plancha (grill). It’s a pleasant place to dine, both during the day and on balmy summer evenings, with the gentle chirping of crickets providing a soothing soundtrack. In the garden and the surrounding countryside, you’ll find plenty of shady spots to read, take a siesta, or enjoy the stunning views. The recently renovated, sheltered saltwater pool, just a short distance away, is nothing short of phenomenal. Peace and privacy guaranteed. It’s surrounded by birds, flowers, cypress trees, and olive, almond, fig, and lemon trees. For plant lovers, there’s plenty to see and enjoy.
Nature and surroundings
The house is located in the Axarquía, east of Málaga, at the foot of Mount La Maroma (2,064 meters). Nearby are the white villages of Sedella and Canillas de Aceituno, with small shops, restaurants, and an authentic atmosphere. The Sierra Tejada y Almijara Natural Park is practically in our backyard. It’s a beautiful hiking area that includes the “El Saltillo” trail with its famous suspension bridge. In the distance, the sea is just a 40-minute drive away, with the beaches and restaurants of Torre del Mar and Caleta de Vélez. Truly Spanish! Toward Nerja, with its impressive caves, there are several more beautiful natural beaches. Culture and architecture can be found in Málaga, Granada, Seville, and Córdoba. Málaga Airport is 1 hour and 15 minutes away.
