Cozy and fully equipped gite/cottage for max 6 people (3 bedrooms) including bedding. It is very quiet here (hardly any car traffic) We, as owners, live on the same property and are available (if available) for questions, help and tips. Our house is 40 meters away and is not visible to guests from their place. You can park close to your stay in our open-but-covered-shed. You have a private garden and a terrace equipped with a long dining table with 6 chairs. Two sun beds are available. Be welcome to stroll through our beautiful large park garden! There is a small stream and birds sound everywhere. Especially download a star app on your cell phone because in clear sky you can see thousands of stars! The living room has a large sofa (U-shape) for 5 people and two comfortable chairs. There is a smart TV in the living room with Netflix, Youtube etc. Wifi is strong in the gite. (Image) calls can be made via whatsapp on the wifi.
Nature and surroundings
The quiet village of Carnoët (Côtes d'Armor department) is located in the hilly green heart of Brittany You can make day trips from here to all the sights and attractions. Beaches: 3 quarters of an hour drive; Lake Guerlédan: 40 min. Within walking distance (20 min, car: 3-4 min) is the Vallée des Saints (Valley of the Saints). In 2008, a sculptor's collective began work on a huge collection of granite statues of Breton saints that stand on a hill with stunning 360-degree views of the valley. The statues are around four meters high. In the summer months you can see the artists at work! If you have (electric) bikes: it's beautiful cycling and walking in the Breton hills here! The quiet village (4 min walk) has a pancake restaurant and a small supermarket (with all the basics, fresh baguettes, fruits and vegetables). A 15 min drive away you will find everything in Carhaix and Callac: numerous stores, restaurants and large supermarkets.
