At your gite is a large garden of about 800m2, where your outdoor life will take place. You overlook the countryside and have access to a surface pool with sun terrace. A beautiful deck attached to the gite where you can relax. In this garden there is also a small spa, with jacuzzi and infrared cabin, for a fee. NOTE: Our cottage can accommodate up to 4 people, but ideally 2 or 3. The 2nd bedroom has a single bed and folding bed of good quality. For use for two adults the space is not ideal. As of May 2025 you MIGHT share the pool with RV guests, who are on the other side of the gite complex. Next to the Gite is another Gite. We never rent these gites at the same time, to ensure your peace and privacy. Please take a look at the other gite, you have a choice of two.
Nature and surroundings
The Parc Naturel Régional de la Brenne covers a large part of our département l'Indre. This vast natural area with its many fishing ponds houses several attractions. There are many recreational lakes, also within reasonable distance of our place. In the summer there is plenty to do here, many brocantes, festivals and marchés de producteurs. Here you sit down at large tables to taste products from local businesses. Twice a year the crane migration comes over here. With great noise and large numbers, the cranes fly over and often rest in the Brenne on their way south. Even around our cottage we spot a lot of wildlife. Owls, wild boar, red deer, roe deer, foxes and beaver rats. The nights are pitch black, no light pollution. Our place is less suitable for people looking for entertainment close by every day: you need a car to get around.

Nature, peace & environment:What a beautiful and cozy house with great views. There is nothing missing. Grab a book and settle down under the umbrella on the terrace, drink, here you really unwind. Walking and cycling in the hilly countryside also here you experience the tranquility. You will not be driven for your socks. Delicious use of the pool and jacuzzi. A fun and educational stained glass workshop followed by Irma and a nice souvenir to take home. For shopping take the car. There are several options in villages nearby. And the lovely owners Tom and Irma have great tips for walking / cycling routes and attractions. In short we really enjoyed and would love to come back!

Voor de boodschappen pak je de auto. Er zijn verschillende mogelijkheden in dorpen verderop.
En de lieve eigenaren Tom en Irma hebben leuke tips voor wandel/fiets routes en bezienswaardigheden.
