Nice little house, beautiful patio

Prima huisje, mooi terras

A nice, spacious, relaxing patio/veranda. The cottage is clean, with new bathroom fixtures and comfortable couches where you can enjoy the peace and quiet outdoors. The large water heater makes showering very pleasant. You can cook just fine in the small kitchen, though it could use an extra pan.  Communication was a bit slow to get going at first (initially no response to website chat, email, text, or phone calls). Tip: The owner communicates best via WhatsApp in French (Google Translate was my friend): when we didn’t know how to unlock the induction cooktop, Manuela was there within 5 minutes to fix it! Highly recommend this cottage if you’re looking for peace and quiet and want to head to the beach in Dieppe every now and then.

Mooi groot, relaxt terras/veranda. Het huisje is schoon, nieuw sanitair en comfortabele banken om heerlijk buiten van de rust te genieten. Grote boiler, waardoor het douchen zeer aangenaam is. In het kleine keukentje kan je prima koken, al kan het wel een extra pan gebruiken.  Communicatie kwam vooraf wat traag op gang (aanvankelijk geen reaktie op website-chat, email, sms, telefoon). Tip: verhuurster communiceert het best via Whatsapp in het Frans (Google-translate was my friend): toen wij niet wisten hoe de inductie-kookplaat moest worden ontgrendeld, was Manuela binnen 5 min ter plaatse om het op te lossen! Huisje zeer aan te raden als je rust zoekt en af en toe naar Dieppe aan het strand wil gaan.

Very nice place and cared for terrace with good furniture and hot tub. Neat bedrooms and just enough space. It was as we expected it to be.

Zeer mooie plek en verzorgd terras met goed meubilair en hottub. Verzorgde slaapkamers en precies genoeg ruimte. Het was zoals we het verwacht hadden.

A terrace and hot tub with lots of privacy. Surrounded, in a higher place, by beautiful, tall trees and you look out to the valley with green landscape and nature and houses. Cows, sheep and tawny owls. A short distance from the coast.

Een terras en hottub met veel privacy. Omgeven, op een hogere plek, door prachtige, hoge bomen en je kijkt uit naar het dal met groen landschap en natuur en huizen. Koeien, schapen en bosuilen. Op korte afstand van de kust.

The cottage is dilapidated. Cabinet knobs are missing or loose. From removed curtains, the fasteners are stuck and another curtain hangs underneath. If you want to close the curtain in the living room, it falls from the wall. The toilet bowl is loose on the wooden floor and the house does not smell fresh. There are beds for 4 people but no table for 4 to eat at. The oven and the Senseo machine do not invite to use. In the kitchen something of porcelain has hung only the broken part has stuck. There is no cap to close the sink. It seems the jacuzzi is played as an asset to boost the overall experience. We will not go back and do not recommend it to others. Too bad this was our first experience with nature house.

Het huisje is afgeleefd. Aan kastjes ontbreken knoppen of ze zitten los. Van verwijderde gordijnen zijn de bevestigingsstukken blijven hangen en een ander gordijntje hangt eronder. Als je het gordijn wil sluiten in de leefruimte valt deze van de muur. De WC-pot staat los op de houten vloer en het huisje ruikt niet fris.
Er zijn bedden voor 4 personen maar er is geen tafel om met 4 aan te eten. Het oventje en de Senseo machine nodigen niet uit om te gebruiken. In de keuken heeft iets van porselein opgehangen alleen het afgebroken deel is blijven hangen. Er is geen dopje om de afwasbak af te sluiten. Het lijkt erop dat de jacuzzi als troef wordt uitgespeeld om de totaalbeleving wat op te krikken. Wij gaan niet meer terug en raden het anderen niet aan. Jammer dat dit onze eerste ervaring was met natuurhuisje.

The cottage was quiet with lots of privacy. Outside you have a nice terrace with plenty of seating. But the cottage is rundown and not fresh.

Het huisje lag rustig met veel privacy. Buiten heb je een fijn terras met voldoende zitgelegenheid. Maar het huisje is afgeleefd en niet fris.
