A super cool yellow dome, a very large dome tent, in which you will have a fantastic vacation at our campsite with 2 adults and 2 children. Among the trees is a newly landscaped terrace/garden with picnic bench and views of the water and fields. From the dining area with 4 chairs you look straight into nature. And there is also a nice sofa and chair. Furthermore a double bed of 160x200 and a sofa bed with 2 single beds of 80x200. In the kitchen there is running water with a water tank (fill and empty yourself) and there is a 3-burner stove and refrigerator with freezer. Kitchen linen is included, comforter cover, pillowcase and mattress cover you bring your own. Toilets and showers can be found in our sanitary building. In the Franekervaart you can swim, sail and canoe (also for rent). Furthermore, there are pedal go-karts and a small playground for the children with trampolines, slide, seesaw and swings. At the reception you can also get coffee/soft drinks/ice cream and other refreshments.
Nature and surroundings
The site is completely surrounded by trees. There is a lot of space between the sites, with a green separation, so there is plenty of privacy. In high season there is a sandwich service and every week the greengrocer, mini-supermarket, ice cream cart, fries cart and Turkish pizza cart comes! The nearest supermarket and bakery can be found in Scharnegoutum about 5 km. The cities of Sneek and Bolsward are nearby and definitely worth a visit. Nature, peace & environment:We stayed at the Dome for 2 nights. Although it was well described, we forgot the bed sheets. No problem for Jeroen, he provided us with a set. A lovely casual atmosphere and a lovely place by the water. The Dome is attractively furnished with a nice private spot you can enjoy the evening sun on the water. Absolutely recommended! Thanks for the flexible service and hospitable reception.
