Nature house in Cádiar

Everything is present in and around the cottage. It was squeaky clean upon arrival, the sheets and towels smelled super fresh and also outside everything was very clean. You can come with a minimum of luggage because everything is there. The feeling of home was immediately there. On very hot days the air conditioning in the bedrooms can be great. But actually the house stays quite fresh inside even on very hot days. During the winter it must be blissful with the wood stove! There is also a green egg bbq which is fun to grill on (luckily there were books for some extra tips). Great outdoor cooking and then eating in one of the cozy places outside, opportunities abound because you can sit anywhere in the garden cozy. And for dessert some delicious figs from the garden, blissful!

Alles is aanwezig in en rond het huisje. Het was kraaknet bij aankomst, de lakens en handdoeken roken superfris en ook buiten was alles erg netjes. Je kan gerust met een minimum aan bagage komen want àlles is er. Het thuisgevoel was er dan ook direct. Op hele warme dagen is de airco in de slaapkamers wel eens heerlijk. Maar eigenlijk blijft het huisje best fris binnenin ook op hele warme dagen. Tijdens de winter moet het er ook zalig zijn met de houtkachel! Er is ook een green egg bbq die leuk is om op te grillen (gelukkig lagen er boeken voor wat extra tips). Heerlijk buiten koken en daarna eten op één van de gezellige plekjes buiten, mogelijkheden ten over want je kan overal in de tuin gezellig zitten. En als dessertje een paar heerlijke vijgen uit de tuin, zalig!

The cottage is in a unique location. All around there is only nature and that is blissful! As far as you can see the beautiful slopes of the Sierra Nevada. Every moment of the day they look different, wonderful! I got up early every day to see the sun rise over the beautiful hills, with a cup of coffee, an intense moment of happiness to start the day. Hiking is plentiful in the area! Good walking shoes are a must and it is best to follow the path because once off the path it can be quite rough. During the day you can hear a car in the distance, but above all, very nice sounds: sheep with bells on in the distance, moving from one meadow to another, crickets, birds, and nothing else. Silence. Lovely.

Het huisje ligt op een unieke locatie. Rondom is er enkel natuur en dat is zalig! Ze ver als je kan kijken zie je de prachtige glooiingen van de Sierra Nevada. Elk moment van de dag zien deze er anders uit, zàlig! Je kan er blijven naar kijken, ik ben elke dag vroeg opgestaan om de zon over de prachtige heuvels te zien komen, met een kopje koffie, een intens geluksmoment om de dag te beginnen. Wandelen kan in de buurt volop! Goeie wandelschoenen zijn wel een must en blijf best het pad volgen want eens van het padje kan het nogal ruw worden. Overdag hoor je al eens een auto in de verte, maar bovenal erg fijne geluiden: schapen met bellen aan in de verte die van de ene wei naar de andere trekken, krekels, vogels, en verder niks. Stilte. Heerlijk.
