Although it is officially a Tiny house, it feels more like luxury glamping. There is running water, but it is not potable and comes from a limited tank. Nice to know for those going there, so you know what to expect. Everything else is really provided: towels, bedding, coffee maker with coffee, tea, dish soap and a dish brush. Hoewel het officieel een tiny house is, voelt het meer als luxe glamping. Er is stromend water, maar dat is niet drinkbaar en komt uit een beperkte tank. Fijn om te weten voor wie er naartoe gaat, zodat je weet wat je kunt verwachten. Verder is echt alles aanwezig: handdoeken, beddengoed, koffiezetapparaat met koffie, thee, afwasmiddel en een afwasborstel.

De eigenaren zijn supervriendelijk en professioneel. Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van deze bijzondere, rustige plek midden in de natuur. Dank jullie wel!

The location is beautiful: in the middle of nature, with birds and rippling water in the background. It is a quiet place for those who really want to relax. However: The cottage is on a bicycle route. Cyclists regularly passed by; some even walked across our porch or used the place to pee at the water pump. A drone from a boat even flew right up to our door - that felt a bit intrusive. There are lots of flies in the summer, so opening windows is really only possible without light. There is little shade except that of the house itself, which ties you to the house. In spring or fall, this seems like the perfect place. With a few tweaks - screens, longer fencing and a "private property" sign - this great cottage would be even nicer.

De locatie is prachtig: midden in de natuur, met vogels en kabbelend water op de achtergrond. Het is een rustige plek voor wie echt wil ontspannen.

Echter: Het huisje ligt aan een fietsroute. Regelmatig kwamen er fietsers langs; sommigen liepen zelfs over onze veranda of gebruikten de plek om te plassen bij de waterpomp. Een drone vanaf een boot vloog zelfs tot aan onze deur – dat voelde wat indringend. In de zomer zijn er veel vliegen, dus ramen open kan eigenlijk alleen zonder licht. Er is weinig schaduw, behalve die van het huis zelf, wat je aan het huis bindt. In lente of herfst lijkt dit de perfecte plek.

Met een paar aanpassingen – horren, langere afrastering en een bordje “privéterrein” – zou dit geweldige huisje nóg fijner zijn.

Nice place with a touch here and there to the history of the location. Here you enjoy the silence and each other. Very nicely decorated despite the limited space.

Leuke plek met hier en daar een toets naar de geschiedenis van de locatie. Hier geniet je van de stilte en van elkaar. Heel leuk ingericht ondanks de beperkte oppervlakte.
