Enjoy a stroll through the orchard, with its magnificent views. Keep up to date with the love affairs of the barnyard. Find and count sheep. Climb the trees. Pick seasonal fruit. Enjoy the games we have. And enjoy the many activities on offer at the leisure center within walking distance: lake and beach, mountain biking, kayaking on the river, workshops for children... The accommodation is in the farmhouse where we live. We share the courtyard, but you have private use of the outdoor space at the back of the house, with table, chairs and deckchairs. The accommodation is small (a living room with kitchenette and two bedrooms) and there's a miller's ladder up to the top floor. Sheets must be put on when you arrive and left clean when you leave (we do not charge a cleaning fee).
Nature and surroundings
We live in a beautiful setting in Sarthe (Pays de la Loire), between the Ile de France and Brittany. We are an organic farm with a small agricultural production (apples and walnuts, flavored wines, wild edible plants, cereals and legumes). You can easily see chickens, sheep, an orchard... We are inspired by permaculture and participate in the protection of biodiversity. If you get the urge to let off steam in the great outdoors, don't hesitate to let us know - we're always happy to lend a hand! Within walking distance is Lac de Brûlon, with a beach, refreshment bar, tennis court, skate park, miniature golf course, ping-pong tables... Swimming is supervised. There's also a leisure center offering a wide range of equipment for hire, including mountain bikes and kayaks for a lovely ride on the river. There's a program of activities for children in July and August.

Mario August 2, 2025 General rating:When we arrived, the cottage was very dirty, especially the things you don't clean by default. Everything stuck that we wanted to grab; from the shelves where you want to put your groceries to the light switches. After a thorough cleaning, it was otherwise fine. We contacted Florence and got a one night refund. We did give the tip to do something with the cleaning. Sebastièn was also very friendly and helpful. The cottage was spacious and cool. We did miss a couch/chair inside to relax on in the evening.
Toen we aankwamen was het huisje heel vies, met name de dingen die je niet standaard schoonmaakt. Alles plakte wat we vast wilden pakken; van de plankjes waar je je boodschappen op wilt zetten tot de lichtknopjes. Na een grondige schoonmaakbeurt was het verder prima. We hebben contact gehad met Florence en kregen een nacht geld terug. We hebben wel de tip gegeven om iets met het schoonmaken te doen. Ook Sebastièn was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het huisje was ruim en koel. We misten binnen wel een bank/stoel om 's avonds even relaxed op te kunnen zitten.
Nature, peace & environment:The cottage is quietly located among greenery with a grapevine in front and several fruit trees in the yard. The chickens and chicks often came walking by. The distance to the lake is about 1200m and good to walk (up hill, down hill). When we were there there were scouting groups, but we didn't notice much of that. The beach at the lake was very quiet; from about four o'clock there were more people. At the lake there are several activities to do.

De afstand tot het meertje is ongeveer 1200m en goed te lopen (wel heuvel op, heuvel af). Toen wij er waren waren er groepen van de scouting, maar daar hebben we weinig van gemerkt.
