It is an old water mill unfortunately without a wheel but with a stream and waterfall flowing past the house. The valley where the mill is located is an old quarry with 2 more houses. The cottage contains all the luxury needed for a fantastic vacation . It is ideally suited for 4 adults and 4 children and a dog. Around the house is a terrace lawn, a stream, forest and plenty of room to play. On the land is a vegetable garden and there are chickens. Outside the house are pots of fresh herbs.
Nature and surroundings
Villebaudon is located in Lower Normandy not far from Villedieu-les Poeles and Saint-lo . The region is known for its beautiful Bocage landscape, with hills hedges and rivers. There are beautiful walks nearby such as the Abbey of Hambye. Cycling is wonderful the Voie Verte from Cherbourg to Mont Saint Michel runs along the Vire. The beach is 20 kilometers from our house, a little further are the landing beaches and there are several golf courses easily accessible. For small children there is a wonderful zoo not far from us.
