Our stay at Herman and Chrisje’s cottage was wonderful! A great house with all the necessary amenities: a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a tub, shower, and separate toilet. Very comfortable beds! The cottage also had an extensive library, board games, and lots of tips on things to do in the area.

The biggest highlight was the outdoor area with various cozy nooks: a coffee corner, the hammock, and the swimming pond full of croaking frogs—all nestled among beautiful fruit trees. Peace and quiet are the top priorities, right in the heart of nature.

If you love authentic France, forests, animals, sunflowers, nice weather, peace, and quiet, then you’ve come to the right place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Ons verblijf in de gite van Herman en Chrisje was zalig! Een tof huis met alle nodige voorzieningen: uitgebreide keuken, badkamer met bad, douche en apart toilet. Zeer goede bedden! Het huisje had ook een uitgebreide bibliotheek, gezelschapsspelen en veel tips over mogelijkheden in de omgeving.

De grootste plus was de buitenruimte met verschillende gezellige hoekjes; een koffiehoek, de hangmat, de zwembijver vol kwakende kikkers, dit tussen mooie fruitbomen. Rust en stilte voorop, midden in de natuur.

Als je houdt van authentiek Frankrijk, bossen, dieren, zonnebloemen, mooi weer, rust en stilte, dan ben je hier aan het juiste adres. We hebben heel erg genoten van dit verblijf.

We had forgotten to request towels. Through whats app good contact, 1 day later everything arranged and settled with the deposit. Fine.

Wij waren handdoeken vergeten aan te vragen. Via whats app goed contact, 1 dag later alles geregeld en met de borg verrekend. Fijn.

What a beautiful authentic gite, in the back part of a fermette , the owners are in the front part.2 terraces and 1 hammock part with views piece of garden, hedge neighbors and the forest. Possibility to move the table ff on the lawn to have breakfast, dinner in the sun. On the other side of the cottage, a beautiful swimming pond with a few fish and cute frogs. We had the swimming pond the 1st week to ourselves. If the owners are there then only agree with them when you want to use the swimming pond. Very thoughtful to put some goodies on the table and in the fridge upon arrival. Nice and fine rain shower, large bathroom. The kitchen fantastic with everything equipped, only missed a salad "centrifuge" but in towel drying also fine. Fine the information folder and baker, restaurant, supermarche within 10 minutes. Even deer seen in the neighborhood. Well read the household regulations so you do not forget anything to do.

Wat een mooie authentieke gite, in het achterste deel van een fermette , de eigenaren zitten in het voorste deel.2 terassen en 1 hangmatdeel met uitzicht stuk tuin, haag buren en het bos. Mogelijkheid om de tafel ff te verschuiven op het grasveld om in de zon te ontbijten, dineren. Aan de andere kant vd gite, een prachtige zwemvijver met paar visjes en schattige kikkertjes. Wij hadden de zwemvijver de 1e week voor onszelf. Als de eigenaren er zijn dan alleen met hen afspreken wanneer je de zwemvijver wilt gebruiken. Erg attent om wat lekkers klaar te zetten op de tafel en in de koelkast bij aankomst. Mooie en fijne regendouche, grote badkamer. De keuken fantastisch met alles uitgerust, miste alleen een sla "centrifuge" maar in handdoek drogen ook prima.
Fijn de informatiemap en bakker, restaurant, supermarche binnen 10 minuten.
Zelfs reeën gezien in de buurt.
Goed het huishoudelijk reglement doorlezen zodat je niets iets vergeet te doen.

We zijn tevreden met het verblijf; het huisje is precies zoals omschreven in de advertentie.

We enjoyed the cottage and the surroundings. The cottage itself is well equipped with everything you need. With four teenagers in the house, we had all the comfort and space we needed. The swimming pond is an added value; through arrangements with the owners you can swim at certain times. In the area we went cycling with the racing bike, visited picturesque villages and found fantastic walks.

We hebben genoten van het huisje en van de omgeving. Het huisje zelf is goed uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt. Met vier pubers in huis hadden we alle comfort en ruimte.
De zwemvijver is een meerwaarde; via afspraken met de eigenaars kan je op bepaalde tijdstippen zwemmen. ‘S Avonds hoor je de kikkers lustig kwaken.
In de omgeving zijn wij gaan fietsen met de koersfiets, hebben pittoreske dorpjes bezocht en hebben fantastisch mooie wandelingen gevonden.
