Nature house in Agios Pavlos

Our plot of more than 5000 m² is located just a few steps from the sea on the south coast of Crete and offers the highest level of comfort and privacy for a relaxing vacation thanks to its layout in 4 terraces. Akoniza is located on the upper terrace of the plot, above the main building. There you are all to yourself and have a fantastic view; Even from the bed you have a direct view of the sea. Akoníza faces south toward the Libyan Sea and the Paximadia Islands. The four and a half meter wide sliding glass door opens the entire house to the outside, an extraordinary living experience. The living and sleeping areas merge into one another, the bathroom is of course separate. Akoníza is furnished for two guests, and the terrace extends the entire length of the house; a pergola provides shade in the cozy sitting area. With its thoughtful color concept, Akoníza combines modern architecture with a classic Cretan style.

At night you become one with nature: no cars and no noise. Instead, the sound of the sea, birdsong, crickets, the occasional bleating of sheep and the wind - otherwise all you hear here is silence. There are hardly any sources of light in the area; the starry sky overlooking the Milky Way or the full moon over the sea is an incredibly intense experience. Without a car it is not possible. To Agios Pavlos with its taverns and a mini-market one can walk if necessary (3 quarters of an hour), but the nearest supermarket is half an hour's drive. A vehicle also unlocks the beauties of the south coast - just a few kilometers through small streets with panoramic views, one beautiful beach follows another, like pearls on a string. There are also highly recommended taverns on the beaches, so the culinary part is not neglected during the vacation: real Greek food and the finest specialties with the most beautiful sea views - definitely worth a visit!
