Our country house in Andalusia can accommodate 6 (max 8) people, has a private pool and garden, a spacious kitchen and living room, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The house is completely rebuilt from the old stones of the previous ruins, with attention to recycling and environment. Several terraces overlook the valley with our ancient Moorish olive groves (ecological certificate). Peace and privacy in a historic landscape, with many hiking trails nearby. Upstairs there is a bedroom with bathroom. Downstairs there are three larger bedrooms, each also with private bathroom and terrace. On this level the swimming pool (9,5x3m) and the garden. From Malaga airport 1:20h drive; village of Lanjaron 12 minutes away. The last 800m to the house is an unpaved country road. We speak Dutch, English and Spanish. Nature and surroundings
The house is located in the Andalusian region of Alpujarra, between the mountain peaks of Sierra Nevada and the Mediterranean Sea. Within 45 minutes drive you will find the city of Granada with the Alhambra, the many white villages in the Alpujarra and beaches on the Mediterranean Sea. In the village there are all kinds of bars, restaurants, stores and a small supermarket. Lanjarón has a history as a spa town thanks to natural spring water. On Fridays it is market day with all kinds of fresh produce.

All (four) bedrooms have private bathrooms, the kitchen is fully equipped, the living room is cozy and the pool is excellent.

Very spacious and nice house, large bedrooms with private bathrooms. Fine living room/dining area. Provided you ventilate well in the evening/morning and keep the windows/doors closed during the day, the house stays relatively cool during the very hot summer days/nights due to the floor cooling and stone walls. Swimming pool is simple but nicely located and the children have had many hours of fun in it (no chlorinated water). Fine kitchen where you can cook well, gas grill is also present. Owner has built the house himself and that can be seen and felt in every detail. House is about 15 minutes drive from Lanjaron and + / - 1 hour to the nicer places (eg Nerja and Fragiliana) and the more beautiful beaches, + / - 50 min to Alhambra.

Mits je goed ventileert in de avond/ochtend en de ramen/deuren goed dicht houdt overdag blijft het huis relatief koel tijdens de zeer warme zomerdagen/nachten mede door de vloerkoeling en natuurstenen muren. Zwembad is simpel maar mooi gelegen en de kinderen hebben hierin heel wat uurtjes vertier gehad (geen chloorwater). Fijne keuken waarin je goed kan koken, gril op gas is ook aanwezig. Eigenaar heeft het huis zelf gebouwd en dat zie en voel je aan alle details. Huis is ongeveer 15 minuten rijden vanaf Lanjaron en +/- 1 uur naar de wat leukere plaatsjes (oa Nerja en Fragiliana) en de mooiere strandjes, +/- 50 min naar Alhambra.
