Our country house in Andalusia can accommodate 6 (max 8) people, has a private pool and garden, a spacious kitchen and living room, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The house is completely rebuilt from the old stones of the previous ruins, with attention to recycling and environment. Several terraces overlook the valley with our ancient Moorish olive groves (ecological certificate). Peace and privacy in a historic landscape, with many hiking trails nearby. Upstairs there is a bedroom with bathroom. Downstairs there are three larger bedrooms, each also with private bathroom and terrace. On this level the swimming pool (9,5x3m) and the garden. From Malaga airport 1:20h drive; village of Lanjaron 12 minutes away. The last 800m to the house is an unpaved country road. We speak Dutch, English and Spanish. The house is located in the Andalusian region of Alpujarra, between the mountain peaks of Sierra Nevada and the Mediterranean Sea. The region is well known as a hiking area for its exceptional natural and cultural heritage. Directly from the house you can walk along historic trails into the nature reserve of the Sierra Nevada. Within 45 minutes drive you will find the city of Granada with the Alhambra, the many white villages in the Alpujarra and beaches on the Mediterranean Sea. In the village there are all kinds of bars, restaurants, stores and a small supermarket. Lanjarón has a history as a spa town thanks to natural spring water. On Fridays it is market day with all kinds of fresh produce.
