Cute cottage. Lovely terrace for breakfast, nice garden to relax, beautiful surroundings, particularly quiet. At night you sometimes hear owls. Many opportunities to walk in la 'Suisse Normande' and explore cities: Bayeux, Caen, Falaise. Friendly owners.

Schattig huisje. Heerlijk terrasje voor het ontbijt, mooie tuin om te ontspannen, prachtige omgeving, bijzonder stil. 's Nachts hoor je soms uilen. Veel mogelijkheden om te wandelen in la 'Suisse Normande' en steden te verkennen: Bayeux, Caen, Falaise. Vriendelijke eigenaars.

nice cottage, beautiful surroundings, nice and quiet. You could only hear the birds. There was a little owl nesting near our cottage. Later saw the 2 hatchlings, was beautiful.

fijn huisje, mooie omgeving, heerlijk rustig. Je hoorde alleen maar de vogels. Er broedde een steenuiltje bij ons huisje. Later de 2 jonkies gezien, was prachtig.

It is a lovely cottage, nice and quiet, fenced garden which was perfect for the dog. Unfortunately it was very dirty when we arrived so we had to clean first.

Het is een heerlijk huisje, heerlijk rustig, omheinde tuin wat perfect was voor de hond. Helaas was het wel heel vies toen we aankwamen dus moesten we eerst schoonmaken.

The house was simply furnished, but really very cozy and beautiful from the outside. The location is excellent for exploring Normandy, you can get to various places of interest quickly by car and there were several great hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. It was so quiet that the only thing you could hear was the stream nearby and owls at night. The apple orchard behind the house and the wood-burning stove completed the picture of this romantic cottage. The property is fully fenced and dog-friendly. The shortcomings: the stairs are quite steep and the wifi didn't really work (but the cell phone reception was very good, even for mobile data, so that didn't bother us), but the surroundings and the super cozy flair easily made up for that. Only the cleanliness of the bedrooms could have been better. Otherwise we wanted for nothing, the kitchen was also well equipped.

Das Haus war einfach eingerichtet, aber wirklich sehr gemütlich und von außen wunderschön. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet um die Normandie zu erkunden, man ist mit dem Auto schnell an diversen Sehenwürdigkeiten und in unmittelbarer Nähe waren mehrere tolle Wanderwege. Es war so ruhig, dass das einzige, was zu hören war der Bach in der Nähe und Eulen nachts waren. Die Apfelbaumwiese hinter dem Haus und der Holzofen rundeten das Bild des romantischen Häuschens ab. Das Grundstück ist komplett eingezäunt und hundefreundlich. Supermärkte sind mit dem Auto gut erreichbar gewesen.

Mankos: Die Treppe ist ziemlich steil und das Wlan funktionierte nicht wirklich (der Handyempfang auch für mobile Daten war aber sehr gut, daher hat uns das nicht gestört), die Umgebung und das super gemütliche Flair haben das aber locker wet gemacht. Einzig die Sauberkeit der Schlafzimmer hätte besser sein können. Ansonsten fehlte es uns an nichts, die Küche ist auch gut ausgestattet gewesen.

Very quiet surroundings, romantic little accommodation on the edge of a typical, beautiful little Normandy village with lots of hiking opportunities nearby.

Sehr ruhige Umgebung, romantische kleine Unterkunft am Rande eines typischen wunderschönen, kleinen Normandie-Dörfchens mit vielen Wandermöglichkeiten in der Nähe.
