This spacious vacation home, suitable for up to 10 people, is located in the grounds of a former manor farm with 5 acres of land. The house has been tastefully renovated, preserving authentic elements; you will quickly feel at home. There is 1 double room, 1 family room with double bed and box bed, 1 family room with double bed and separate sleeping area. Each room has a private bathroom with walk-in shower/sink/toilet, smart TV and WiFi. The dining room with fully equipped kitchen has a long table where there is room for everyone. There is a cozy sitting area, a game closet and lots of tips about the area. BBQing and lighting a fire is allowed on the private terrace. The house is adjacent to a large outdoor area with many opportunities (including ping pong, table soccer, family swing, sandbox, farm animals). Fresh bread can be ordered daily. In the Calvados department, the vacation home is ideally and very centrally located. Here you will find relaxation after a day full of impressions! The house is only 4 km from Omaha Beach; a beautiful sandy beach, famous for the invasion on June 6, 1944, as well as Utah Beach (St. Maire Eglise) and Gold Beach (Arromanches). The American and German cemeteries are impressive, as is Le Pointe du Hoc. Bayeux is a medieval town known for its cathedral and Tapestry. Caen is home to the Mémorial war museum. Painting town Honfleur and France's 2nd most visited attraction Le Mont Saint Michel, both 1.5 hours away, must be seen. There are several hiking and (water) sports possibilities. Along the coast is ideal cycling on a recently built path with breathtaking views. Sociability and gastronomy in various port towns, a tasting in a cider chateau, caramels in Isigny-sur-Mer ... all in close proximity! And all from a quiet home base in the countryside.
