In the heart of France lies this large family house (1840) consisting of two living units. Perfect for large families or several families who want to vacation together and also want their privacy. You can also rent 1 living unit, see adv. living unit 1 or 2. The layout with 5 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets and 2 front doors makes the house suitable for 2 or 3 couples, families or (friends) groups. Both stays have their own entrance door, but are also connected by a connecting door. On the grounds there is parking for 5 cars, Both for children and dogs the large garden is safely fenced. Fresh bread is 1 km, large swimming lake 8 km, A large supermarket is 15 min (car) away. In front of the house are garden table suitable for 10 people, backyard with table and evening sun, hammock, lounge area, 5 sunbeds, bocce ball, badminton, large trampoline, wooden children's house with toys, sand shell, table football game and place for yoga.
Nature and surroundings
In the midst of the authentic French countryside, this tastefully furnished place gives you the opportunity to take a break. The farmhouse is located in a small hamlet with a magnificent view. It seems as if time has stood still. It is not for nothing that the writer George Sand, mistress of Chopin, settled in this area (Berry). In the summer there are concerts by Chopin, among others. A green environment with varied views of the many lakes, forests and meadows with the beautiful Limousine cows in front of the door. The silence, occasionally a farmer drives by. The beautiful starry sky, BBQ, lazing in a hammock and hiking opportunities, Within walking distance there is a playground and a large fishing pond. Literature, games and regional information are available. 10 minutes away there is a large swimming lake (Lac de Sidiailles) with beach, pedal boats, canoe rental, survival trails etc..

Huisje is prettig. Het is het fijnst om het hele huis te huren, anders best lastig om alles te moeten delen. Douche in huisje voor 4 personen is niet heel fijn, geen afzuiging en geen daglicht. Wc papier in prullenbak ipv in wc (vanwege septictank)is even wennen, maar dat is te overzien. Genoeg boeken en dvds om bij minder weer jezelf te vermaken. Bij lekker weer is de tuin heel fijn. Hottub kost een lieve duit, 50 euro per keer, als je zelf geen hout koopt.
Prachtige ruime tuin, midden in de natuur. Huis was ook prettig.
Geen toeristische streek, dus wel even zoeken en rijden voor een leuke activiteit, zeker wanneer er kinderen bij zijn. Meer van Sidiailles is echt een aanrader.
