This pretty stone cottage is in a small hamlet and has uninterrupted views over fields and woodland. Newly renovated with double glazing and good insulation, your stay will be warm and cosy with minimum impact on the environment. Electric heating throughout the house is easy to control to a perfect temperature and a wood-burning stove in the sitting room adds warmth and ambience. The kitchen is super cute and well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fan assisted electric oven, gas hob, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. Upstairs you will find a double bedroom, spacious bathroom with a big bath and overhead shower and a relaxing reading corner. My favourite spot, and a perfect place for nature watching. The house has a fully fenced garden and pets are very welcome.
Nature and surroundings
Le Peron is a small Hamlet of just five homes. The area is mainly agricultural and in general there is very little traffic. Quiet roads and tracks make the area popular for walkers and cyclists. Deer, Hare, and squirrels can be seen often, along with many species of wild birds. The hedgerow flowers in the spring are just lovely and all nature lovers will feel completely at home. The small Market Town of Lassay Las Chateaux is less than 10 mins away. It has a regular weekly open market and a Medieval chateau to explore. Bagnoles de L'Orne (11 km) is a Spa town famous for its healing waters and 'Belle Epoque' architecture. It also has street music in the summer season and restaurants open for most of the year. There are many farm shops in the area selling home-produced and often organic products. I will provide a list of what's available, where, and when.

We can recommend it to everyone.
We kunnen het iedereen aanbevelen.
The cottage was great and equipped with everything we needed. There’s a huge garden with seating. The owner is easy to reach and very accommodating. There were a total of 5 houses and lots of farmland and fields. Peace, space, and nature—it’s all there. There was even a walking trail that started right at those five cottages. You can also go for great walks in the immediate vicinity. The Intermarché and a great pastry shop were in Lassay-les-Châteaux, where there’s also plenty to see: castles, guided tours,
walks from castle to castle, a rose garden, … etc.
This text is automatically translated. -

Extraordinary value for money and all the confidence of the host
Very complete and comfortable house in which everything has been thought of. Generous for two people and beautifully maintained. Although the cottage is part of a small hamlet you have complete privacy.

We enjoyed our stay. Cottage with all the necessities provided. Jennifer was always easy to reach. We were able to keep the ground floor cool despite the heat. The only downside for us were the plum trees in the garden because of our dog. As these can be poisonous and there were quite a few on the ground, it was not ideal for our puppy. A house for pure tranquility.
Cottage among corn and grain fields. Very quiet environment with only a few residents in Le Péron.
