Everything was there—a wonderful place. A comfortable bed. Everything was well taken care of.

We found peace and quiet in the natural surroundings of this cottage. The landscape is beautiful, and the sea is nearby. We went on many walks in the woods as well as through the farm fields. Near Plouescat, our first hike took us through beautiful artichoke fields with a fascinating coastline and beautifully shaped rocks. That was a great start!! Later, using Komoot, we explored a wide variety of other landscapes.
We had brought our bikes, but that wasn’t much of a success with all the hills and the heat. So we mostly stuck to hiking.
We also spent a lot of time sitting around the cottage, listening to the animals in the area. It’s truly a place for those who need a break from the hustle and bustle.
Iris (and Toby) are incredibly friendly people with a good sense of when to be close and when to give space. We got great tips via the app at the start, and every now and then Iris would “pop” into the garden to check if everything was okay—but she was never intrusive and always showed great respect for our privacy.
