This cottage is located in the characteristic courtyard of Lavau, a small vacation domain and is a wonderfully spacious 4-person cottage with a large private terrace. The nature house is a comfortable gîte suitable for 4 people, but of course it is also a good place for two. The gîte was built in the winter of 2017/2018 in an old stable. You enter the living area with on the right a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, ceramic hob with hood, microwave and of course plenty of pots, pans, utensils, crockery, glassware and cutlery. The living area has a cozy dining and sitting area where of course a television with DVD player and a mini hi-fi set are not lacking. Furthermore, the ground floor offers a toilet and a spacious storage closet. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the Parc naturel regional Loire-Anjou-Touraine, a large protected natural area where landscape management receives a lot of attention. Among other things, you can follow part of the cycle route La Loire à vélo through the park. For the hiker, the region also offers an extensive network of short and long hiking trails. Been active on a hot day and looking to cool off? That's fine in the village. There is a lovely swimming lake where even the little ones can splash around. Very nice that fresh croissants were fetched from the bakery for us every morning. We found the "convenience meal" on the day of arrival and the meal with all the tenants and owners to be a big plus. We do not want our review published.
Heel fijn dat er elke morgen verse croissants voor ons bij de bakker gehaald werden.
De ‘gemaksmaaltijd’ op de dag van aankomst en de maaltijd met alle huurders en eigenaren vonden we een groot pluspunt.
