The charming cottage is completely private in the green hills: it is wonderfully quiet here because there are no neighbors. You are 100% alone here. Enjoy the tranquility from the covered terrace overlooking the garden and the valley. From the tree-lined driveway you can go directly for a walk through the French farmland. Or drive for a day to the famous Normandy beaches, national parks, cathedrals, castles and medieval towns. The charming cottage includes a living room with equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with bathtub and toilet. The cottage is equipped with electricity, drinking and hot water, a wood stove, WIFI, heating and air conditioning via a heat pump, a fridge freezer and a washing machine. Wood, electricity, gas and water are included in the price, linen is optional. This cottage is perfect for people who love simplicity, tranquility and space!
Nature and surroundings
The huge garden surrounding the charming little farmhouse has roses, rhododendrons, blackberries, fruit trees and walnut trees. The garden is again surrounded by meadows so you have complete privacy here. From the window you can see the deer, foxes, hares and wild boars. Grab your walking shoes or bike and leave right from the driveway for beautiful trips through the meadows, hills and forests to nearby charming villages. After a day outdoors, sit by the wood stove and enjoy a Norman camembert, or a glass of wine on the covered terrace. Or take the car and drive to the vast sandy beaches. Mont Saint-Michel MUST be visited. Also visit: the Omaha D-Day beaches and the war museum in Bayeux which includes the famous tapestry, Caen with its castle, Parc Naturel Normandy, the medieval towns of Saint Malo, Domfront, Fougères and Falaise with William the Conqueror's castle or take a day trip to the islands of Guernsey and Jersey.
