The bay of Agia Fotia with its crystal clear sea, where it is good snorkeling and diving, is one of the most beautiful in Crete. It has a restaurant with a beach bar, where you can relax. Within walking distance There is a small supermarket; a larger supermarket can be found in Ferma, 2 km back towards lerapetra. Lerapetra, a thriving town southeast of Agios Nicolaos, lies approximately 10 km west along the coast; The holiday resort of Makrialos is 8 km to the east.
