The house and its immediate surroundings exceeded our expectations. We stayed there as a group of three, but it’s perfectly suited for four or six adults plus two children. It was very quiet, very green, and had a lovely garden. The house was clean, cozy, and equipped with all the amenities. The beds were great, as were the bathrooms.
For hiking trails, however, you’ll need to drive a short distance to Yport or Vattentot (next to the church). Yport has a nice little beach (with a reading hut called “Lire à la plage!”). There are plenty of great little restaurants.
