Although the nature house is attached to the owners residence it is very private and peaceful. Many of the original features remain from the conversion which was an old Cidre Barn. The nature house is situated just inside the Contentin National Park not far from the beautiful Marais which is a bird paradise. Although rural we are only 1k from shops and 8k from bars and restaurants/

Nature and surroundings

Set in it's own grounds of 1 acre with a small lake where ducks and frogs nest and mate. There are a number of specimen trees in the garden and beside the pond to sit under in the hotter weather. The bird population is vast within the 4 acres the house is surrounded by including Heron's in and birds of prey. The naturehouse is situated just inside the Contentin National Park not far from the beautiful Marais which is a bird paradise. In our small town of Pont Hebert you will find the River Vire where the riverside path & Chemin de Haylage follows the valley for 60 kms that can be walked, cycled or by horse back. For those guests with electric cars there are 2 charging points in Pont Hebert, so have a walk along the river, do your shopping or have a coffee in the bar while you wait.

Nice quiet cottage with stove for wonderful warmth on the slightly cooler evenings.Beautiful garden with maintained turf.Surrounded by trees...at night you can even hear the owls calling.Covered terrace out of the wind.Super friendly couple (English-speaking) where you are received by. Everything is present in the cottage of household equipment. Even coffee and tea was there. We really did not miss anything in this cottage!
