This nature house goes way back in time. Grandpa and grandma lived in the front house. After they passed away, it stood empty for a long time. Last year, the new residents modernized the nature house while retaining original elements such as the fireplaces, doors and Bakelite sockets. The front house is insulated so that it is comfortable on cold days. Near the nature house is an (enclosed) front garden where you can have tea or coffee. If necessary, we provide rental bicycles during your stay. You can even get breakfast or hot food.
Nature and surroundings
The coulisse landscape is varied with hedgerows, rows of trees, meadows, woods and streams. In the woods of Verwolde and Ampsen you can take walks from the cottage. It is a vast cycling landscape with farmlands, estates, forests, heath and cycling routes. You can cycle along the Berkel (brook) across the moors of Gorssel or visit museum Moré.
