Nature house in Aghios Nektarios

In my nature house I want guests to completely relax and feel at home. The cottage is located in a large garden with a breathtaking view of the Libyan Sea and the surrounding mountains. As neighbors you have only goats and sheep. It has a very good bed, a well equipped kitchen, a nice terrace and nice beanbags to watch the sunset It is located near Frangokastello on the south coast of Crete. In 20 minutes on foot you are at a beautiful sandy beach or at our secret little pebble beach next to the Asfendou gorge. It can accommodate two people and a baby. Around the cottage is a beautiful garden. Under the big carob tree you can rest in the hammock. There are two bathtubs and an outdoor shower. So you can take a bath with a view of the sea. If desired, a crib and high chair can be provided. The sofa measures 1.2 m and can be used for a small child.

The village of Frangokastello is three kilometers away. Here you will find supermarkets and nice typical Greek tavernas. Frangokastello is known for its Venetian castle from 1371 and has beautiful extensive sandy beaches such as Vatalos and Orti Ammos. It is the ideal region for hiking. Nearby there are three gorges: the Imbros Gorge (the most famous) at five kilometers, the Kallikrat Gorge at four kilometers and the Asfendou Gorge next to the house. From the small port nearby, Hora Sfakion you can take a boat to Loutro and Agia Roumelli, among others, terminus of the famous Samaria Gorge. You can also rent a boat there and there is a diving school. A few kilometers into the mountains via a very spectacular road with 27 hairpin turns, you reach the Kallikratis plateau, a fertile plain where wine is grown. It is also a site of mineral deposits. In short, everything for both a quiet and an active vacation is within reach here.
