Nature house in Setenil de las Bodegas

This natural stone cottage is self-built from natural materials in a studio style. It consists of a bright living/dining/sleeping area with a kitchen and a platform with a double bed. The sofa can easily be folded out to form another double bed. The kitchen has a fridge freezer and the casita has an ensuite bathroom with toilet and a private patio. The wood stove is easy to use and provides enough heat to enjoy this charming casita even on winter evenings. La Molina offers many places to relax and enjoy, along the river, in hammocks under old trees, on the sandy beach. Pure and healthy nature... with the chirping of birds, the murmuring of the brook, the buzzing of insects and the wind in the leaves.

Nature and surroundings

Casita Verde is one of our three very individual holiday homes on our 1.5 hectare organic land La Molina. We were already thinking about sustainability during construction. Building materials are direct from the land itself, restored windows and doors, a green roof and - we are off-grid. A photovoltaic-system and our own well provide us with electricity and water. La Molina is located directly on a

river along the Escarpes del Rio Trejo - a very impressive rock face that is the breeding ground for numerous birds. We farm the land organically; we have our own compost facilities, grow vegetables, have an olive and almond grove, gardens next to the houses and a diversity of very old and younger trees. Shade, a gentle breeze and pleasant nights in the summer and light in the winter. La Molina is only 1 km from Setenil de las Bodegas, 15 km from Ronda, and 100 km each from Seville, Cadiz, Malaga and the sea. We are in the Sierra de Cadiz with wonderful hiking routes,
