The cottage is part of a former farm whose stable and barn have been restored. The original dwelling house is still in its old condition. The front door gives access to the living-dining room with linoleum floor. There is an armchair, a 2-person bench and a 2-person sofa bed and of course a dining table with 4 chairs (spare chairs are available) Via three steps one enters the kitchen and the bathroom, both tiled. On the first floor are two small bedrooms under a sloping roof and a third bed on the landing. The cottage exudes a cozy, livable atmosphere. It is furnished with old family furniture supplemented with warrior pieces. Without giving a slick impression, all comforts are present and operational. There is a terrace directly in front of the door and three steps away another place so that sun worshippers and shade seekers can both find their happiness.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is surrounded by trees and shrubs and a landscaped garden. On one side is a sheep pasture with many trees. There is a path along the cottage that basically continues to the village but there is no regular maintenance by the municipality so you have to go through it with boots and pruning shears. However, by car it is possible to drive to beautiful hiking areas nearby. The landscape is gently rolling with quite a lot of woods and hedges between fields and meadows.

Simone August 2, 2024 General rating:For me this is a pretty ideal cottage.It is pretty basic,I like that.There is a village plm 8 min drive away with bakeries and supermarkets that also seems lively.The roads are all 80km roads,I wouldn't cycle there myself but when we met cyclists it wasn't a problem actually.Beautiful surroundings.
Voor mij is dit een redelijk ideaal huisje.
Het is vrij basic, ik houd daar wel van.
Er is op plm 8 min rijden een dorp met bakkers en supermarkten dat ook levendig overkomt.
De wegen zijn allemaal 80km wegen, ik zou er zelf niet fietsen maar toen we fietsers tegen kwamen was het geen probleem eigenlijk.

J.A.M. July 17, 2023 General rating:De rust en de stilte is verkwikkend. Heb genoten van de tuin en het erf. Het huisje is rustiek en eenvoudig maar voldoet prima. Hier en daar wat schoon gemaakt. We konden heerlijk onze eigen gang gaan. Kan het zeer aanbevelen.
