It is a great location, the view is incredibly beautiful. Reception is super and everything is thought of.

Het is een geweldige locatie, het uitzicht is ontzettend mooi. Ontvangst is super en aan alles is gedacht.

It is a simple cottage, not very big. With nice weather you can sit outside, there is enough space, but when it is colder or rainy you only have a small table and simple chairs inside.

The beds are (especially for in Spain) very good, we slept fine in April/May under real comforters and they have a good topper on the mattress The owners ask you to be economical with power (only charging during the day, at night they work with a battery and/or generator) and with the wifi (only for looking things up in your browser, not streaming, uploading photos etc). The wifi is slow, on the terrace in front of the apartments you do have 4g coverage, which works faster.

Het is een simpel huisje, niet heel groot. Met lekker weer kan je prima buiten zitten, daar is genoeg ruimte, maar als het kouder is of regenachtig heb je alleen een klein tafeltje en simpele stoelen binnen.

De bedden zijn (zeker voor in Spanje) heel goed, we hebben prima geslapen in april/mei onder echte dekbedden en ze hebben een goede topper op het matras liggen

De eigenaren vragen je om zuinig te doen met stroom (alleen overdag opladen, 's avonds werken ze met een batterij en/of generator) en met het wifi (alleen voor in je browser dingen opzoeken, niet streamen, foto's uploaden etc). Het wifi is traag, op het terras voor de appartementen heb je wel 4g bereik, dat werkt sneller.

It is far from civilization, 30 min from a place with a supermarket, 10 min from restaurants. The vultures fly past in large groups and near the apartment there is the european canary, greenfinches, flycatchers, the hoopoe, among others. You look straight out onto the lake, there is mainly lots of fish and occasionally some water birds.

A little further down the street is a (wild) camping place where mostly climbers camp, but that is just out of sight of the apartments. Along the apartments is a hiking trail that goes through the mountains behind it. At the viewpoint, vultures fly right past you and you can see the dams of the reservoirs.

Also nearby is the tourist attraction caminito del rey, a hiking trail that hangs inside a a gorge. I am sure it is very impressive to do, but we skipped that attraction. There are constantly tourist buses coming from all over andalucia, you really walk there in procession.

Het is ver van de bewoonde wereld, 30 min van een plaats met supermarkt, 10 min van restaurants. De gieren vliegen in grote groepen langs en bij het appartement zit o.a. de europese kanarie, groenlingen, vliegenvangers, de hop.

Je kijkt recht het meer op, daar zit vooral heel veel vis en af en toe wat watervogels.

Iets verder in de straat zit wel een (wild) kampeerplaats waar vooral klimmers kamperen, maar dat is net uit zicht van de appartementen.

Langs de appartementen loopt een wandelpad dat door de bergen er achter gaat. Bij het uitzichtpunt vliegen de gieren je vlak langs en kan je de dammen van de stuwmeren zien.

In de buurt zit ook de toeristische attractie caminito del rey, een wandelpad dat binnen een een kloof hangt. Het is vast heel indrukwekkend om te doen, maar wij hebben die attractie overgeslagen. Er komen constant toeristen bussen vanuit heel andalusie, je loopt er echt in optocht.

Lovely quiet, nice and secluded, rugged nature, beautiful surroundings Entrance and parking with the motorcycle are a challenge... Apartments are noisy
