Nature house in Dunet

A large nature house with a fully equipped dining kitchen. There is an in-ground pool (150 cm deep, 7m long, 350 cm wide) in the garden and also a large petanque court. The guests of the châmbre d'hôtes (1 room) also use this. Lovely quiet location at the end of a dead-end street. The street turns into a dirt road that leads to the river. The spacious front and back garden are fenced. Fresh herbs grow in the garden and depending on the season trees and bushes have edible fruits. Wonderful walks can be made from the house. In the evening it is wonderful to sit under the porch and watch the play of the bats and enjoy the sounds of the owls. In the living room there is a wood stove. Originally, the house consisted of three workers' cottages about 260 years old. These were pulled together into one house by the previous owner. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are all two meters long.

At the foothills of the Central Massif lies Dunet. The region is characterized by its rolling landscape which is wooded and watery. In the immediate vicinity of the house there are pastures with cows and sheep. There are also forests in the immediate vicinity. Right next to the cottage flows the river Anglin. Near the cottage there is another small river through which you can walk, wearing boots. The kingfisher can often be seen by the river. A bit further on the Anglin is a wide river. The Brenne regional park is nearby. Here are very many ponds where many water birds live. On a walk through De Brenne you may encounter a turtle but of course also deer, stags and boars. Many bird watchers have found De Brenne for bird watching. There are many rivers and streams in the area. On some rivers you can canoe.
