Nature house in Notre-Dame de Cenilly

Voor wie op zoek is naar complete rust en stilte is dit huisje een echte aanrader ! Ook het huisje op zich was een leuke ervaring : heel oude elementen gecombineerd met moderne items

The cottage is in a beautiful location; all you can hear is the sound of birds. A super peaceful setting—no disturbances from anyone or anything—it's great!

Het huisje is prachtig gelegen, enkel het geluid van vogels is er te horen. Een super rustige omgeving, geen last van wie of wat dan ook, top !

It was a pleasant cottage that also withstands the summer heat well thanks to its thick walls, which kept it cool. There was plenty of shade to sit outside comfortably, even when it was very hot. Because of the heat, we didn’t get out as much as we’d planned, but that allowed us to enjoy the peace and quiet of the cottage even more, along with the books about D-Day and the immediate surroundings for a morning or evening walk.

Het was een prettig huisje die in de zomer ook goed bestend is tegen de hitte vanwege de dikke muren waar het koel bleef. Genoeg schaduw om prettig buiten te kunnen zitten, ook bij hele warme temperaturen. Vanwege deze warmte hebben we ook minder ondernomen dan we van plan waren, maar we hebben daardoor extra genoten van de rust bij het huisje, de boeken over d-day en de directe omgeving voor een ochtend- of avondwandeling.

It was a lovely little house in a beautiful setting. The view was absolutely stunning, and it was a pleasant area for hiking. With the exception of some local traffic (though even that was minimal), it was completely peaceful.

Het was een prachtig huisje in een mooie omgeving. Uitzicht was ontzettend mooi en prettig gebied om in t wandelen. Met uitzondering van wat bestemmingsverkeer (maar ook al minimaal), was er complete rust.

It’s a house that has absolutely everything you could need: a kitchen where you can prepare the delights of the region (buchots, oysters, cheese platter); comfortable mattresses and garden chairs….The wide selection of brochures and maps makes it hard to choose, because this region has it all: hikes, bike rides, small villages, historic sites, . Be sure to take the time to enjoy the garden with a great book, which you can also find in the living room library :-) You can really feel the care and attention the owner gives you as a guest. So highly recommended!

Het is een huis waarin werkelijk alles voorzien is: een keuken waar je de geneugten van de terroir klaar te maken( buchots, oesters, kaasplan); goede matrassen en tuinstoelen….het ruime aanbod van folders en kaarten veroorzaken keuzestress want in deze streek is er alles: wandelingen, fietstochtjes, kleine dorpjes, historische plekken, . Neem zeker de tijd om ok te genieten van de tuin met een heerlijk boek die er ook te vinden is in de bibliotheek van de living:-) Je voelt de zorg en de aandacht van de eigenaar voor jou als vakantieganger. Dus echt een aanrader!

Coming home to a nature house: it’s possible. The nature house’s beautiful location, combined with its exceptionally tasteful and personal decor, makes for a wonderful stay. A rolling landscape with a garden that blends seamlessly into the tranquil natural surroundings offers peace and simple joys. The cottage is located in the countryside but just a stone’s throw from the stunning sea, creating a lovely variety of atmospheres. The mudflats and salt marshes are breathtaking; there’s also a wide range of activities offered by the tourist offices along the coast.

Thuiskomen in een natuurhuisje: het kan. De prachtige ligging van het huisje in combinatie met een bijzonder persoonlijk smaakvolle inrichting maken een verblijf super. Een glooiend landschap met een tuin die onderdeel uitmaakt met de stille natuur biedt rust en klein geluk. Het huisje ligt in de campagne maar op steenworp van de bijzondere zee wat zorgt voor mooie afwisselende sferen. De gebieden van het slikke en de schorre zijn adembenemend: er is ook een groot aanbod van activiteiten vanuit de toeristische diensten aan zee.
