Nature house in Plouhinec

This nature house is a former hangar transformed as sustainably as possible into a cozy, comfortable accommodation for four people. In the Morbihan, on the coast of Southern Brittany, near the sea, amidst forest and meadows. The cottage is located near the home of the Dutch landlords, who also rent other Nature Houses, on a dead-end street overlooking meadows. In the private southwest facing garden you can enjoy the silence, the birds and the sun. To grow the hangar, old and local building materials were used as much as possible, such as wood, stone, straw, sawdust and lime. Cooking with local and seasonal products is a passion of the landlords, as well as wine, so they are happy to cook for their guests if possible. Join them for a simple farmer's meal or a (vegetarian) pampered dinner, combined with (h)honest wines! The rates do not include any costs for the (electric) heating.

The nature house is located four kilometers from the Pavillion Bleu sandy beaches of Plouhinec, two kilometers from the village itself and three kilometers from the beautiful inland sea and beaches of the Ria d'Etel. The Ria d'Etel is an estuary that extends more than 10 kilometers inland and has a fascinating underwater and overwater world due to its powerful currents but also quiet coves. For fishermen, birdwatchers, canoeists, cyclists and hikers, it is a walhalla. From fishing for bass, picking oysters, enjoying unexpected viewpoints and beautiful still life to experiencing the silence on the water from a canoe. The dune area is a protected breeding ground for many a native bird species that feasts on the richness of the mudflats at low tide. For cycling and hiking, you need only step out the door, but fishing (on foot), sailing, wind/golf/kite surfing, swimming, diving, canoeing, horseback riding, golf, shopping and museum visits are also possible within a 10 kilometer radius. From Plouhinec, places such as Auray, Port Louis, Carnac, Vannes, Quimper, Corncarneau, Pont Aven and Lorient are within easy reach (maximum 45 minutes).
