Nature house in Carataunas

This Spanish "cortijo" like nature house has been renovated while maintaining traditional elements and has been owned by the same family for generations. The nature house is comfortably furnished and fully equipped. In the huge garden with various levels you can enjoy the overwhelming views, a fixed outdoor barbecue and a lovely private pool of 8x4 meters.The nature house has an open kitchen with fridge/freezer, gas hob with oven, microwave, washing machine, living/dining room with fireplace, TV, bathroom with toilet, shower, bedroom with double bed, two bedrooms with two single beds and parking. In the nearby town of Orgiva (six kilometers), you will find shops, banks, tapas bars and restaurants where you can eat.

This cortijo is in a quiet location near Carataunas, the smallest village in the Alpujarras. Just six kilometers from the nature house you will find the town of Orgiva. Its location on the southern flank of the Sierra Nevada, the heart of the Alpujarras, offers you every opportunity to discover this natural environment. The Sierra Nevada has 16 mountain peaks that are higher than 3,000 meters and you can visit the Sierra Nevada National Park with its many vegetation, bird species and mammals. The Alpujarras, located between the cities of Granada and Almeria, consists of several valleys that stretch from the peaks of the Sierra Nevada to the sierras Almijara, Contraviesa, Gador. The impressive city of Granada has pleasant squares and a visit to the Alhambra is also worthwhile.
