This charming holiday home is part of an 18th century renovated farmhouse that sits on a large estate (70,000 m2). You can relax in an enclosed private garden (300 m2) and a shady terrace (48 m2). There is lots of fun for children, with a playroom, swing, slide and a sandpit. There is also a boules game, a mini climbing wall and a meadow with a pony, donkey and a sheep. There are wonderful panoramic views of the countryside and the park. The house is just 3 km from the picturesque medieval town of Falaise, the birth place of William the Conqueror and famous because of the Battle of Hastings in 1066. The farmhouse lies to the south of Calvados and is 35 km from the sea. You can join in French conversation lessons on the estate, enjoy a wonderful massage and hire bicycles. Normandy is a region in north-west France that lies along the canal between Picardy and Brittany. Normandy's historical heritage is evident in a number of beautiful towns: Caen, Deauville, Honfleur and Dieppe.
