Nature house in Lignac

This charming ruralhut is located in a small hamlet in the countryside, in the south of the Brenne nature reserve. The cottage is detached with a large fenced garden with several fruit trees. The ruralhut has a living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower, and a bedroom with a double bed (140x200cm) on the ground floor. There is a comfortable sitting area with a wood burning stove and TV in the cozy living room. Adjacent you will find the kitchen, equipped with a gas cooker, fridge, microwave and oven. On the upper floor you will find a large bedroom with a double bed (160x200cm), a cot (70x140cm), and a bathroom with a shower. There’s also a foldable baby cot available. Thanks to the size of the garden and the surrounding meadows and fields, peace and quiet is guaranteed. You can truly enjoy the nature and silence here.

The Brenne, which is also known as the region with 1.000 lakes, is a beautiful, pristine piece of nature that is known mostly by the many migratory birds that breed here. Everything is still authentic in this area, with beautiful ancient villages and farms, castles, and abbeys. The biggest farmers market in France takes place in Les Hérolles each month, which is nearby the ruralhut. The market is a whole experience, you can really find anything. There are also activities in the nearby villages such as village festivals, nice evening markets, and flea markets. You can also enjoy various sporting activities such as canoeing, cycling, horse riding, and swimming. The village of Château-Guilaume with its beautiful medieval castle and the town of Monttmorillon ‘Cité de l’écrit’ is also nearby. The mayor cities of Poitiers and Limoges are around an hour away.
