Nature house in Órgiva

Anna, you are truly a wonderful person and you have created a real paradise on this earth! Everything is love and beauty in this place. We enjoyed every moment intensely and will definitely come back again!

Anna, je bent echt een fantastisch mens en je hebt een echt paradijsje op deze aarde gecreëerd! Alles is liefde en schoonheid op deze plek. We hebben van ieder moment intens genoten en komen zeker weer terug!

Everything is beautiful and fine about this cottage, every detail handmade with so much love and beauty. The mosaic stones, the atmosphere, all the nooks in the private garden, the alberka with fish, the cat that is just cozy and sweet and the hostess herself who is super caring and helpful. It was so fantastic that we had trouble leaving this "garden of eden" and exploring the town itself. Both cottages are super cozy and with beautiful views and surrounded by tranquility. And yet within very good distance of liveliness and any crowds should you wish. Also on foot. We are really blazingly enthusiastic!!! About everything. We still miss the cottage and the place now.

Alles is mooi en fijn aan dit huisje, ieder detail met zoveel liefde en schoonheid eigenhandig gemaakt. De mozaiek steentjes, de sfeer, alle hoekjes in de besloten tuin, de alberka met visjes, de kat die alleen maar gezellig en lief is en de gastvrouw zelf die super zorgzaam en behulpzaam is. Het was zo fantastisch dat we moeite hadden deze 'garden of eden' te verlaten en het stadje zelf te verkennen. Beide huisjes zijn super knus ingericht en met een prachtig uitzicht en omgeven door rust. En toch op zeer goede afstand van levendigheid en eventuele drukte mocht je dat willen. Ook te voet. Wij zijn echt laaiend enthousiast!! Over alles. We missen het huisje en de plek nu nog steeds.

A perfect place to find deep peace and avoid mass tourism. You live there sustainably in and with nature. An unpaved path to the cottage, sounds of animals, mosquito bites and kittens visiting are part of it. Cute cottage (a work of art!) with a beautiful garden, views of the Alpujarras mountains and a little pool with two goldfish to cool off. It is pleasantly cool in the morning and evening and a cooling breeze during the day. Very friendly owner. The multicultural town of Orgiva is 5 min away by car (25 min walk) and there is much to see and do. Among other things, you can swim in the river Guadalfeo there and buy organic produce. In the library you can admire a large collection of Don Quijote translations in 98 languages. After an hour's drive you are already in Granada, in a village high in the mountains or at a seaside beach.

Een perfecte plek om tot diepe rust te komen en massatoerisme te vermijden. Je leeft daar duurzaam in en met de natuur. Een onverhard pad naar het huisje, geluiden van dieren, muggenprikken en poesjes op bezoek horen erbij. Schattig huisje (een kunstwerk!) met een mooie tuin, uitzicht op de Alpujarras bergen en een zwembadje met twee goudvisjes om af te koelen. ‘s Ochtends en ‘s avonds is het aangenaam fris en overdag waait er een verkoelend windje. Heel vriendelijke eigenaresse. Het multiculturele stadje Orgiva ligt op 5 min afstand met de auto (25 min lopen) en er is veel te zien en te beleven. Je kunt daar o.a. zwemmen in de rivier Guadalfeo en biologische producten kopen. In de bieb is er een grote collectie van Don Quijote vertalingen in 98 talen te bewonderen. Na een uur rijden zit je al in Granada, in een dorpje hoog in de bergen of aan een zeestrandje.

Beautiful cottage! Creative and beautifully built, with incredible mosaic floors and sitting areas. We had a fantastic week, but were unlucky in that there was no hot water (surmountable) and the toilet could not be flushed so we had to use buckets. Difficult but otherwise doable. The owner did everything she could to solve it, and I'm sure she succeeded. There are mosquito nets everywhere and over the beds, which is necessary and useful because it was full of mosquitoes that you could not hear or see. Did I mention that the house is beautiful? And the garden! I'm a little homesick, would like to go back so much. The path from the road to the cottage is very bumpy, but even our cool little rental car could handle that. Órgiva is fun and the area quiet and beautiful. At night many barking dogs in the area. But in the morning birds singing.

Prachtig huisje! Creatief en mooi gebouwd, met ongelooflijk mooie mozaïeken vloeren en zitjes. We hebben een fantastische week gehad, maar hadden pech dat er geen warm water was (overkomelijk) en dat de wc niet kon worden doorgetrokken dus we met emmers in de weer moesten. Lastig maar verder goed te doen. De eigenaresse deed er alles aan om het op te lossen, en dat is inmiddels vast gelukt. Overal zijn horren en over de bedden klamboes, wat nodig en handig is want het stikte er van de mugjes die je niet hoorde of zag.
Had ik al gezegd dat het huisje prachtig is? En de tuin! Ik heb een beetje heimwee, zou zo graag terug willen.
Het pad van de weg naar het huisje is erg hobbelig, maar zelfs ons toffe huurautootje kon dat aan. We lachten ons rot als we helemaal losgehobbeld weer stilstonden op de parkeerplaats.
Órgiva is leuk en de omgeving rustig en wonderschoon.
's Nachts veel blaffende honden in omgeving. Maar 's ochtends zingende vogels.
