The nature house is a renovated farmhouse, which now offers modern and well-equipped accommodation, in a building with character and with the original wooden beams throughout. On the ground floor is a large room with a wood stove, two sofas, a TV and a CD/DVD player. The dining table and chairs are by the French doors, which open onto a gravel terrace with a path through the garden, to an elevated patio with a built-in barbecue and great views. The kitchen has an electric oven/grill and a four-burner gas stove, plus plenty of cooking supplies. At the back of the cottage is a utility room with a washing machine and a toilet. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with an adjoining bathroom with a walk-in shower, sink with cabinet and WC. In one of the bedrooms there is a king-size double bed, in the other room two single beds that can be pushed together to form a double bed. The cottage is therefore suitable for families or for two couples.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on a very quiet road with almost no traffic. All doors and windows (except the utility room) face southwest and overlook the surrounding terrain. From the raised terrace and the bedrooms there are wide views over the countryside. The area is of particular interest to walkers, cyclists and nature lovers, or anyone with an interest in its rich history. Rare birds, hares, deer and sometimes wild boars can be seen. In the small medieval towns, time seems to have stood still. Hiking maps of the area are available to guests, as well as plenty of tourist information. There are beautiful beaches on the north coast, as well as golf courses, inland lakes for water sports, castles and towns with markets, all within a 45 minute drive.
