A lovely nature house, located on the beautiful Vendée Coast, a holiday region in the Atlantic-Loire area. Enjoy the sun, the beach and the sea whilst being roughly 200 kilometers north of Bordeaux. The Vendée is famous for its beautiful sandy beaches, but also for its many hours of sunshine; Most of France after the Riviera. A visit is well worth during all seasons, come and discover it yourself! Many great sights and activities are available both on the coast and inland. The cottage, well within walking distance of the sea and in a bird sanctuary, features two bedrooms, which were built in a former stable. Three restaurants can be found within walking distance at the Passage du Gois, but the landlords also offer you the opportunity for table d’hôte. It’s time for a vacation, it’s time you enjoy. The nature house is located in the middle of a very varied and therefore beautiful nature reserve. The owners have already spotted many different bird types such as the small egretes, glossy ibis, storks, owls and buzzards. Roughly 2,500 hectares of nature in the Vendée are open for walking and cycling activities. Through the forests, along the rivers and marshes and obviously along the coast. Along the coast, between the northern tip of the island of Noirmoutier and the coast of the bay of Aiguillon, you will encounter different kinds of plants and animals. This varies from Mediterranean plants to the most diverse birds. Many birds stay here during the winter due to the soft climate. The high tidal difference allows you to see many special animals on the beach when there is low tide. Think along the lines of the big red starfish, different types of crabs, and so forth.
