This nature house is a simple and authentic room: a cozy space surrounded by nature, with its own entrance from the outside. The kitchen and common area are located in our renovated old barn, a cozy place to cook and relax. The bathroom (shower, toilet, and sink) is in a small separate building, and the water comes from our natural spring. Ideal for those who love peace and simplicity. For 2 people, with a private entrance. Bed linens, bath towels, water, and electricity are included. Your host, Cornelius, is Dutch: he speaks Dutch, French, and English, and a little German. Do you have a special diet or an allergy? Please mention it when you book. Pets, vans, or RVs may be allowed in some cases, but only after consulting with Cornelius.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located in Gorses, in the heart of the Lot. Here, everything invites you to slow down: a flowing spring, a nourishing organic vegetable garden, and a large kitchen in the cozy, renovated barn where you can share meals together. A vibrant eco-friendly retreat, lovingly maintained, set in a rolling landscape filled with tranquility and birdsong. The vegetable garden is organically cultivated here and provides ingredients for simple, generous seasonal meals, complemented by local produce. The pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela (GR65) runs nearby, via Figeac. Hikers and pilgrims are welcome: Cornelius can pick you up at an agreed-upon spot along the route and bring you back the next day.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
