On the border of Friesland and Drenthe, near the Drents Friese Wold, Fochteloërveen, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the prison village of Veenhuizen, lies our chalet named TOLVE. The chalet is situated in a quiet, small-scale vacation park in Oosterwolde. This cozy chalet can accommodate up to 4 people. It is fully equipped with a dishwasher, a four-burner gas stove, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and a washing machine. You can park one car at the chalet. Biking and hiking routes are available at the chalet.
Nature and surroundings
The vacation park is located in a peaceful setting surrounded by forests and nature, on the border of the beautiful provinces of Friesland and Drenthe. The province of Groningen is also nearby. You can visit the prison museum in Veenhuizen. The Fochtelooerveen is one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands. With a little luck, you might spot some cranes here. The Drents Friese Wold is also a beautiful area where you can spend hours hiking or biking. Assen is 25 km away. Groningen is 45 km away. Drachten is 30 km away.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
