Welcome to our Nature house! Enjoy a relaxing vacation in our spacious, fully equipped vacation home surrounded by nature. The peaceful location and unique surroundings make this house the perfect retreat for families, couples, and nature lovers. With three bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen, the house can accommodate up to 8 guests (optional: 1 additional sleeper sofa in the living room, 1 crib). All rooms are on the ground floor. There is one bathroom (shower, toilet) and a separate toilet. Outside, there’s plenty of space to relax and play in the yard and the large garden. A special highlight is our game enclosure, which surrounds the house and the driveway. Fallow deer live there, and you can observe them in their natural habitat. The house and yard are supplied by their own spring. Two good friends of ours (along with their playful dog) live in a separate apartment in the basement—they lovingly take care of the property and are always available to assist our guests.
Nature and surroundings
The house is situated in a secluded location in the heart of the cross-border Karawanken UNESCO Geopark, which preserves the unique natural and cultural landscape of this mountain region and brings it to life through numerous hiking trails and activities. Through extensive grazing, our deer help preserve the traditional mountain meadows and thus contribute to species conservation. In the summer, the day begins with a leisurely breakfast on the balcony, where you can enjoy a magnificent view. Then, hikes will take you into the Karawanken Mountains or the nearby Slovenian mountains. You can also swim in warm lakes or at the outdoor pool, or go on bike rides in the surrounding area. In winter, the family-friendly Petzen ski area or cross-country skiing in Pirkdorf beckon, or you can stay home by the warm wood-burning stove. The town of Eisenkappel, with its shops, restaurants, cafés, and outdoor pool, is 6 km away. Access to the house is via a winding private road (800 m)—winter tires are required in snow or ice.

You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 28 days before arrival. For bookings with an arrival date within 28 days, free cancellation is available within 24 hours of booking. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the total cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 28 days before arrival: 100% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 24 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
