This nature house is our largest wooden A-frame chalet, located on our small property with three chalets, 10 km from Gérardmer. The high-ceilinged living area features a kitchen (oven, dishwasher), TV, and a dining table for 6. Downstairs: a bedroom with a double bed (140x190) and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. On the mezzanine: a double bed (140x190) and two single beds (90x190) with a view of the forest. Sleeps 6. On the terrace: a barbecue and your own wood-fired Nordic hot tub (4 to 6 people). Wood for 3 fires is included; more available upon request. Your dog is welcome (20 euros per night; fenced-in property). Sauna shared with the other chalets, or private for 40 euros per 4 hours. Free Wi-Fi, parking, fitness room, storage for bikes and skis, and an electric vehicle charging station (0.30 euros per kWh). Bed linens and towels are optional. Self-check-in starting at 4:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM, minimum stay of 3 nights. I’m Francois—welcome!
Nature and surroundings
The property is located in Barbey-Seroux, a quiet village in the green hills of the Vosges, surrounded by forests and meadows. From the chalet, you can walk or bike right into nature. Gerardmer, with its lake, ski slopes, and the hiking trails of the Route des Crêtes, is just a short drive away. In the area, you’ll find waterfalls, lakes, scenic overlooks, and farmhouse inns (fermes-auberges) where you can enjoy simple regional dishes. In the surrounding villages and in Gérardmer, you’ll find supermarkets, bakeries, and restaurants. Snow falls regularly here in the winter; winter tires are required to reach the chalets. The nearest train station is Saint-Die-des-Vosges, about 25 km away, so a car is recommended. Ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, fresh air, and long walks with the dog.

• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refunded
• on the day of arrival or later: no refund
