This nature house is a cozy, wooden A-frame chalet located on our small property with three chalets, 10 km from Gérardmer. Downstairs, you’ll find the living area with a kitchen (oven, dishwasher) and TV, a bedroom with a double bed (140x190), and a bathroom with a shower. On the mezzanine, there’s a second double bed (140x190) with a view of the forest. Sleeps 4 people. On the terrace: a barbecue and your own wood-fired Nordic hot tub with bubbles. Firewood and a kindling set for three fires are included; additional firewood is available upon request. Your dog is welcome (20 euros per night; fenced-in property). You share the sauna with the two other chalets, or you can reserve it for yourself: 40 euros per 4 hours. Free Wi-Fi (fiber optic), parking, a fitness room, and an electric vehicle charging station (0.30 euros per kWh). Bed linens and towels are optional. Self-check-in via key locker starting at 4:00 PM; check-out by 11:00 AM; minimum stay of 3 nights. My name is Francois, and I’ve furnished the chalets with great care. Welcome!
Nature and surroundings
The property is located in Barbey-Seroux, a quiet village in the green hills of the Vosges, surrounded by forests and meadows. From the chalet, you can walk or bike right into nature. Gerardmer, with its lake, ski slopes, and the hiking trails of the Route des Crêtes, is just a short drive away. In the area, you’ll find waterfalls, lakes, scenic overlooks, and farmhouse inns (fermes-auberges) where you can enjoy simple regional dishes. In the surrounding villages and in Gérardmer, you’ll find supermarkets, bakeries, and restaurants. Snow falls regularly here in the winter; winter tires are required to reach the chalets. The nearest train station is Saint-Die-des-Vosges, about 25 km away, so a car is recommended. Ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, fresh air, and long walks with the dog.

• on the day of arrival or later: no refund
