A spacious 210 m² house on a hillside overlooking the Dordogne, with room for nine people in five bedrooms and four bathrooms. It’s perfect for two families or a group of friends who want to spend time together but also appreciate having their own space. The highlight of the house is the south-facing terrace, with views over the Dordogne valley. In the morning, it’s still in the shade; in the evening, it’s a wonderful spot for al fresco dining, with the Big Green Egg within easy reach for the produce you’ve found at the market. Inside, you’ll find a large living room with a wood stove, a spacious kitchen, and a separate dining room. The house is surrounded by about 1,800 m² of garden—enough space for children to play or to find a quiet corner with a book. The property manager will welcome you upon arrival and lives nearby. So if you have any questions during your stay, he’ll be there in no time.
Nature and surroundings
Castels-et-Bézenac is located in the Périgord Noir. This region is characterized by castles, forests, limestone cliffs, and the Dordogne River. From the house, you can hike up the hill along unpaved trails through the forest. The river is just a few minutes’ drive away—perfect for canoeing or swimming from one of the pebble beaches. Saint-Cyprien, which has a large market on Sundays, is nearby. The castles of Beynac, Castelnaud, and Les Milandes, as well as the gardens of Marqueyssac, are within a 15-minute drive, and Sarlat is about 20 minutes away. A little further on, near Les Eyzies, are the prehistoric caves of Lascaux.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €500.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
