Welcome to our farmhouse in the French Vosges! This old house with thick walls has the rustic charm of days gone by, but is also comfortable enough to ensure a pleasant stay! You can enjoy the wood stoves or opt for the convenience of electric radiators. Come relax with friends or family at this peaceful spot in the Vosges. This rustic farmhouse features a spacious living area, surrounded by a garden, and offers views of the hills. It’s a great base for beautiful hikes in the Vosges and a place where you can enjoy the simplicity of the French “campagne.” This part of the Vosges hasn’t yet been discovered by the masses, but it’s a very pleasant setting with beautiful hills and valleys. The Space The house consists of an entryway, a kitchen, dining room, and living room, and a bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms; a fourth bedroom and a second bathroom are not yet accessible as they are still under construction.

The surrounding area consists of hills and mountains, with plenty of unspoiled nature and beautiful views. The pink sandstone is everywhere and gives the landscape its unique character. From the village, you can set out immediately on a hike or a mountain bike ride. There are also many lakes and stunning mountain peaks just a short drive away. So be sure to bring your hiking boots! Well-known spots in the area include Lac Blanc, Lac Noir, and Lac Vert, all located along the Route de Crêtes/Col du Bonhomme. Longemer is highly recommended for swimming. A beautiful lake in the immediate vicinity is Lac de Pierre Percée, where you can also rent canoes. There are plenty of lovely hikes to enjoy. Nearby, you’ll find La Haute Pierre (Moyenmoutier), Le Camp celtique de la Bure (near Saint-Dié-des-Vosges) with many archaeological remains, or a bit further away, the spectacular cliffs of Le Sentier des Roches (Col de la Schlucht). For a leisurely hike with stunning views, head to the summit of the Hohneck.
