Tucked away in the woods, near the village of Österbybruk, lies our charming little cabin (70 m²). Here, you’ll wake up to the tapping of a woodpecker, breathe in the fresh forest air, and enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch as the morning sun filters through the trees. The cottage has been lovingly decorated and is fully equipped. Relax in the cozy living room by the wood stove, cook together in the fully equipped kitchen, and sleep in the extra-large hotel bed measuring 210 × 200 cm. The second bedroom features a bunk bed. The cottage is ideal for 2 to 4 people. Outside, you’ll find a refreshing outdoor shower, a toilet, a lovely porch, and a private garden spanning no less than 1,800 m². Bake a cake together, fire up the barbecue, play a game, read a book in the hammock, or simply listen to the silence. No rush, no obligations—just time for each other and enjoying the outdoors. Treat yourselves to a few days of peace and quiet and book your stay at “det lilla gröna huset.”
Nature and surroundings
Listen to the birds, spot wildlife, or daydream in a hammock. Head into the woods for a hike, go fishing, or—in the right season—forage for blueberries, herbs, and mushrooms. At the beautiful nearby Swedish lakes, you can swim, paddleboard, or simply relax by the water. As evening falls, light the wood stove or build a fire at the fire pit. Enjoy long summer evenings, the silence, and a sparkling starry sky. Sometimes, that’s all you need. This is also the perfect spot for a fun day trip! • Österbybruk (5 km): a charming little village with two supermarkets and a swimming lake where you can go stand-up paddleboarding. • Östhammar (30 min): a picturesque coastal town on the Baltic Sea with a cozy little harbor. • Uppsala (40 min): a lively city full of outdoor cafes, shops, and culture. • Stockholm (1 hour): explore the Old Town and enjoy the Swedish capital. The best of both worlds: peace and quiet in the heart of nature, plus fun day trips nearby.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €250.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
